Russian influence? This is a Korean traditional dance for centuries. But revived better in North than in South Korea.

Much better than Southern Korean dancing. The South style is stiffer.

I am truly awed by it.
I wish I could watch this in higher resolution.

The story-telling choreography, the beautiful costumes, the cheerful music and the graceful movements. All in harmony and very enchanting.

@Bootlegization This is not traditinal form. must say that it is 'neo-traditional' korean dance. which based on Choi-seung-hee(최승희)'s modern ethnic Korean dance setablished in 1920-1930. most of so called 'Traditional Korean dance'in North Korea and China(performed by ethnic Korean-chinese)follow this form.
