I wish I could’ve made an intro for this vid here. Something like the actual vid with me falling asleep in front of my computer while working on an episode, and the girls on screen come to life while I’m not looking and start dancing. But I’ve got episodes to make. Back when the idea for this came about Dead Fantasy 2 was out which had 9 girls in it. And Girls Generation a very popular (and cute) Korean girl band had this video. This felt all too appropriate, and worked out pretty well. first thing I did was assign roles to each girl whom their personality felt appropriate to the one singing… Except Rachel lol I tell ya these vids are quite easier than an episode for the simple reason that it requires me to think less. Perhaps the most difficult thing when choreographing a fight is the ideas really. When doing these music videos you eliminate thought and from there it becomes only work. Alternate outfits are always fun. Also, random camera angles ftw. Anyhow please excuse if maybe any of the motions aren’t quite perfect. Can only follow choreography for so much. This most importantly allowed me to test more on the mocap and Lip synching side than anything. And despite my new more optimized models, getting all these girls in effective playback was really tough. This like so much of my work is riddled with errors, I could spend forever fixing such tiny details or I could move on…

DRM, once called dream, is an all-female J-pop chorus group. In May 1999, the Japanese record company avex trax held a contest in the hopes of looking for new talent. After going through 120000 Japanese contestants, Mai Matsumuro, Yu Hasebe. and Kana Tachibana were chosen to form the new group “dream”. Many consider the first three girls as the first generation of dream, which made its debut in 2000 with the single “Movin’ on.” dream consisted of those three members until July 7, 2002 when Matsumuro graduated to a solo career. Six new younger members joined the group (Risa Ai, Erie Abe, Aya Takamoto, Ami Nakashima, Shizuka Nishida and Sayaka Yamamoto) which allowed people to draw comparisons between the “new dream” and another Japanese pop group, Morning Musume. dream remained an 8-member dance & chorus group until the graduation of member Risa Ai on March 28, 2004. As of today, the group still consists of seven girls. On June 25th 2007, the group decided it was time to have a makeover, and changed their name from dream to DRM. Actually, I did a year ago with some well known entertainment companies in Korea and Japan. How did it go?! yes! they wanted to see me in Korea or Japan. But I didn't go, because I thought that I was too young and I didn't want to change or lose anything from what I have right now like my school or friends etc. Well.. I still have good relationships with those companies and they still contact me sometimes. I am pretty busy with my sports activities and homework or other things and these are the things I like do a lot. So, thank you for all your comments and suggestions they help me a lot.
