I don't know what you guys are talking about Yana beeing fat, she has a nice frame. She is the type that has a roundish face but it has it's own unique beauty. She actually reminds me of one of the contestants in America's Next Top Model who also had baby-doll round face and curly hair. As of the other contestants in this show all of them are much much much better looking than Karina Smirnoff. I googled her pics and godness gracious poor girl looks like a human duck with on half of the pics ...

@turivka I'm not saying that he gave the rose to her because of her size. I'm talking about how it DOESN'T matter what shape the girl is....it's what's inside that matters. Some girls are fat and LOOK FAT but Yana has meat on her bones but she doesn't look fat...

I am just stating obvious facts here guys. who is who. all women are great in their own way. but Max has to pick one who has the best combination of inner and outer beauty. not one extreme or another, like Nadia is beautiful physically but so obnoxious and boring, and Yana or Ilona have great personality but bad looks. and sorry, but christina had to go long time ago.

@CutieHoney13 he didn't give her a rose for her "shape" but for her personality, so innocent and sweet. but the looks is very important too, Max is not a big celebrity in USA, people were talking about him only because he was dating Karina Smirnoff, so now he has to pick a woman who will not only satisfy his needs but also be a good match for publicity. he can't bring out a woman twice bigger than him, cmon...especially that he's a dancer. did you see Yana dance? she could barely move

@MrMarla123 hmm I don't think he's a boob man. he was crazy about Karina and wanted to marry her, and she was complete oposite from Yana. slim, athletic and size A cup...I think he just likes Yana's personality. She is very calm and sweet, and seems pretty smart too. The physical part can be fixed. a few weeks hardcore in the gym and bedroom and Yana will be a top model.

I really like Yana! She has a natural body and face. She's not skinny like a lot of these girls. She's curvy. It's nice to see a nature girl :)

@RadioBabygirl Yes, that could have been very much so. And like someone else said, maybe the producers egged him on to act like he's uncertain for supense and entertainment purposes.
I like Yana, she's not fat but rather just slightly plump in a good way. And I think she's prettiest of the bunch. Her eyes are gorgeous.

In my opinion, Yana is not fat. She is a beautiful woman with a healthy body. As to the Kirstie/Maks relationship - only idiots and perverts will be spreding these "spicy" rumors. As far as I am concerned, Kirstie and Maks simply enjoy their friendship - that's all.
In my opinion, Sasha and the red-haired Kristina are almost ugly. And Sasha is acting so arrogantly as if she's been already chosen. In reality, I think she's opened herself up to a great disappointment..

All i know is he picked her. he seems to like her and she's not that big. He clearly likes her boobs. He seems to be a breast man anyway. But fat. And some people actually think there's something between he and Kirstie Alley which is sick by the way. This girl is not nearly as fat as Kirstie Alley.

turivka, it was not Yana who said she wanted to live in Hollywood. I believe it was Sasha who said that. Yana, however, did say she wanted to live in America. As to Yana's figure - I think she is just fine and not fat at all. But, of course, different strokes for different folks. The same goes for her hair and face - I believe she is the most naturally beautiful woman of them all.

@MrMarla123 yana is fat, that's why she has big fatty boobs. and she is too dull. like she's about to die over a guy, she made it clear on one of their dates "i always had a dream to live in Hollywood" so obviously that is her main goal, to use Maks as a way to get out of the country and live her dream. she is fake.

But in the previous episode on the date with yana she said that she wants kids right away. And also, I think the producers told him to act like he didnt know who to choose just for tv entertaining purposes

And just to add that Marina (25) seems fun loving but still mature and responsible and I think Maks admires that.

...his desire to start a family right away and he does not want to be any sort of impediment to her dreams which is going to require a lot of energy, time and dedication on her part. Just my thoughts...

@Zhanna668169 You're probably right but I'm still just surprised that the choice was between Kristina and Yana instead of Kristina and someone like Nadya or Kristy (or Sasha- can't stand her smugness but apparently Maks has still got a thing for her). Like someone else commented, maybe Yana's young age caused a bit of hesitation for Maks although with the exception of Kristina (29), the other three are only 2 years older than Yana. And perhaps Yana's big singing ambition might not line up with

Ralph Macchio should have won DWTS.
I blame the Producers. There was UNFAIR judging going on each week.
DWTS has turned into a farce of a dancing contest show.
But one thing is clear, Ralph Macchio is the BEST!
