I just wanted to point out that Maks may seem wealthy by the standards of the Ukrainian poor-to-average citizens. But in USA, Maks is considered to be middle class and he does have to work for living and live on a budget. That said, I doubt he'd be able to take these girls places if he had to pay for it from his own pocket.

@themagenta07 Maks on Ukraine nobody knew, though for us and there is the internet;) he became opening. When in autumn looked the advertisement of show, then Maksim at once pleased not very much to me . who he such? some dancer from the USA :D. we have DWTS. he can and will open school of dances, and can it will be simple to take part in our shows, here it is well paid such celebrities. who knows.)

@nospins89 absolutely right. He'll proabably open a chain of dance studios or something. Dancing is huuuge over there, just look at number of pros from there.

I do agree that with the time alloted with each girl it would be virtually impossible for Maks to know anyone well enough to marry them!....and of course he knows that. The only way anything could work would be if they continued to get to know each other,see each other, after the show is over. Could be done,with commitment, but more than likely won't materialize.

Maks ,(in interviews),has said he wanted to do the Ukrainian version of The Bachelor because he wasn't well known there and it would be a pure experience,not like the U.S. version. Don't know if it is true but I had read that the girls who signed up didn't know who he was or what he had??(hard to believe with internet access!) I think Mak's big family would be thrilled if he married a woman from his native country. I makes perfect sense to me why he'd want to give it a shot.

Maks has said in interviews ,he accepted the offer to do this project with an open mind,and was open to anything...but doubted he would connect with anyone on a tv show...but I still think he was,in the back of his mind, hopeful he just might find someone. I think Maks wants kids more than anything else,he's GOT everything else,more money than he knows what to do with. I think he liked the idea all the "work" would be done for him, and all he had to do is meet,and spend time with the girls.

I believe this project is a money-making opportunity for all - producers, advertisers, Maks and contestants. Exposure on national TV is huge and some of these girls will definitely capitalize on that. Maks is now a household name in Ukraine - why not expand his existing franchise into Ukrainian market or perhaps venture into a new business opportunity there? I'm sure there is a huge pool of immigrant girls (just like him) in USA to choose from-he doesn't need to go to Ukraine to find a wife.

sabrinaism2, it is my understanding that a date lasts as long as it takes to shoot a video. I am sure they often go through the retakes for it is unlikely that they or the camera/sound crew do everything right from the first take on. I believe they meant to say that their real communications with Maks come in between these retakes. Being a realist, I do not believe it is enough time to get to know a person enough to get married... unless, of course, it is LOVE from the first sight. Is he a fool?

The girls kind of revealed in this episode that all communication they have with Maks is 15 minutes here and there. And there are always camera people around. Unless it is love from the first sight, I do not think Maks plans to marry any of them. But the money must be pretty good for Maks and these women and the exposure on national TV should be priceless for many of them.
Ilona grew on me. Honestly, she is better off without Maks. She deserves better than that. She is a beautiful person.

@meganxolovesnoSaula @Zhanna668169 I agree and have said since the first that Maks will be better not with a girl from the Ukr show, he is different than they after living in the USA for so long and those girls would not be good material for wife or mother excluding Marina, but she is only a pal to Maks.

18. He said that before she put him on “probation” period when she could not trust him and she was cold to him and that she told him that during the “probation” time some girls that were more open and warm with Maks had left . End of the episode

17. ( don’t know what she meant by that, hopefully she didn’t meant physically strong to punch someone if needed ) She said that she never thought of herself as a strong person. In her interview she said that she want her men to love her the way she is and not expecting her to be strong. Back to bench. Maks asked her if he can honestly tell her what is his problem with Nadya and that problem is ONLY with her ( no same issues with other girls).

16. Voice behind the screen saying that if a date will not be successful Nadya will go home straight from her date. Maks and Nadya on the bench : Nadya tells him that she’s started to feel depressed lately and Maks asked her why. She said that last night they had a discussion with girls and girls think that the “WINNER” of the show will be someone really strong ....

15. Marina in her interview said that she thinks the reason Maks invited Nadya first on this date to just reassure himself that Nadya is not a good fit for him. Ilona very optimistically jokes in her interview that he’s leaving the best for the last and now he’s just invited Nadya to warm her up (since she’s in bad mood I guess) Maks in his interview said that he decided to invite Nadya because he heard gossips that she’s in a depressing mode.

14. Maks tells girls that since he sees that Nadya today is in a good mood he want to take this opportunity to invite Nadya on date. Nadya in her interview said that she couldn’t even imagine that she will be the first person invited on date in such a beautiful island. Maks and Nadya are living and girls making sarcastic comment to Nadya telling her making sure that Nadya take’s her coat, long warm boots and gloves to her date to keep herself warm.

13. She said that beside Nadya’s great look and her dirty “sex” talk she has nothing to offer to Maks. At the table Nadya said that when he’s going to be warning up her body she will be blowing air to his tong. When she said that Maks almost choked ( video time 11:47) Ilona said in her interview same thing, that Maks almost choked on his coffee when he heard what Nadya’s going to do to him)
