Hines might have chosen Kendra and Kirstie to have an opportunity to dance with some male pros. I guarantee he picked up some valuable info just rehearsing and dancing with them.

I wonder why Hines chose Kirsty and Kendra. They were the weaker link, never having topped the score board, compared to Team Chelsea where all of them were leaders at one point. His first choice of Kirsty for heavens sake! Sure, now we know she's in the finals but... I mean she's 60!

The singer messed up during Kendra's solo. And I think Hines messed up on purpose.

chief... you have to listen. She's criticizes their dancing as a group when she refers to Kirstie's hands being late. There's really no way to be 100% in sync, but Kirstie's hands always drew attention to her because she was so far behind. And Kendra's arms are strange ( I noticed that during her fiery samba a few weeks ago). She doesn't always straighten them all the way, and in this particular dance it actually shrinks her posture. Specifically at 3:46, when he dips her, she's shrugging.

Carrie Ann is awful judge! She criticizes Kirstie for being a "hair" late with her arms in the group scenes and Kendra for "strange" arm moves in her solo part. Meanwhile, Ralph had NO arm movements in his solo part.

She also points out Hines mistake, but Romeo was rough (not as smooth as HInes) and had much easier solo part than Hines. Even with Hines' mistake, he clearly deserved an 8, while Romeo deserved a 4.

Len and Bruno wer right. Team Hines was better.

Walking into your partner is usually a BIG mistake, not something done intentionally. If Kym didn't alertly put her hand on Hines's chest and push him away, then they would have bumped into each other.

However, Hines was brilliant in picking Kirstie and Kendra as teammates. Assuming both women would probably score a lot lower than himself in their individual dances, either Kirstie or Kendra would go home if his group lost.

Why all of them did the same solo as their first cha cha dance? Like Maks & Kristie, from the other team, Chelsie & Romeo, wasn't supposed to be new choreography? Just saying (:

What an amazing way to end the season. These two were by far my favorite couple. In my mind, they are the winners. Not Hines. She improved week on week. This really was the perfect viennese waltz. As well as her Rumba & Freestyle.

@karalott19 Yeah, Mark definitely needs an attitude adjustment. After Kirstie and Maks finished their encore cha-cha, the camera showed Chelsea cheering for them while Mark just stood there frowning like "Whatever". What a poor sport.

@starrbeatlesqueen I think people said Lacey technically did a correct WCS, even though it was mostly about her, but I don't know much about dance. Especially that style, and neither did the judges. I think Lacey's improved somewhat in not making it so much about her, although I still think she needs to think more inside the box. She's getting better, though. Like some of the long term pros, I think it takes some of them longer to figure out this show. Mark? He needs an attitude adjustment

I thought Mark said they were going to keep their dance traditional. Instead, he just used the same hip-hop moves like last time. Mark, we know you can do other styles; quit upstaging your partners! You don't see Dmitry, Lacey, or Chelsie (who were previously on SYTYCD) putting in non-ballroom moves or showing off. (Lacey did upstage Lance during their West Coast Swing in season 7, but she got yelled for it and has done her best not to do that ever again.)

1:10-1:40 awwww they're both crying. did mark cry last year? don't think so. anyways probably the cutest moment of all of season 12 for me. #Kanenballer 4 life!

I didn't really pay much attention to this the first time I watch it, but listen to waht Len is telling her: "...whatever the outcome tonight you are still a fantastic dancer and I wish all the luck in the future." He's telling her she didn't win!

Technically they DID win with the overall scores (in dancing) considering they had highest score almost half the time, but the viewers voting was a whole different story. I think it was more voted out of popularity and who they viewers are most a "fan" of, not really on how they danced. They should of at least come 1st or 2nd all there dances was so creative!
But nothing can be done about it now, so congrats to hines, and we all HAVE to give Kristy some credit considering her age

@TillyKyKayKat When I first watched it last night, I knew something was going to happen because of the music playing in the background. I had a feeling Chelsea would cry. When she did, I cried x10 harder because I knew that was the first time she's cried on the show. Mark thought she'd be the first on Dancing With The Stars to keep her tears in, but she let them out BECAUSE of him. ♥

They're winners for me. Popularity's the only reason why they didn't win. They absolutely deserved it. Topping the leaderboard 5/10 weeks, winning the winners-take-all-cha-cha, and Chelsea being able to nail every difficult dance step Mark's choreographed? True winner. Hines/Kym have a trophy, but Chelsea and Mark have an everlasting friendship.

I like Hines and Kirstie, but I'll keep saying Chelsea and Mark won because in my heart they did. I refuse to say otherwise.

I find it adorable the way Mark hugs Chelsea so sweetly. @1:25 Mark's arm is around her body, the other around her neck. "Okay, stop." "Babe.." *whimper* *kiss* *hug* *crying into his shoulder* But the "I'm so proud of you..." makes this even more perfect. Chelsea and Mark have the most perfect, most cutest friendship ever on DWTS. By far the sweetest moment on the show. ♥
