Stevie Nicks=Music Legend!!
@cdcotr oh, then i respect your opinion :)
I thought the performance, both vocal
and dance was wonderful. Tony and
Cheryl were doing a rhumba, which
has specific characteristics, and yet
I thought it complimented the song
quite well. I don't think the goal was
to have the movement directly reflect
the words of the song, but rather the
emotion.
@imvvnh but that was kind of what I noticed and my point, that the story their dancing told and the story the song told did not match very well but I agree they were gorgeous and really good dancers.
This was so beautiful Cheryl shows so much emotion in her dances almost like she was making love in this rumba...
such a beautiful dance by tony and cheryl.
i love this song so much.i thought it was a good thing that stevie nicks was choosed to sing that nite for dancing with the stars.!!!!!!!!!! you go stevie nicks.b.m.u!!!!!!!!!!
Stevie is the QUEEN! :D
WOW! She saved it for sure with this song. She really did an amazing job with this... and I know that this has a lot of emotional connections for a lot of people so I think that this will be a successful outlet for her new album! She is beautiful and people still love her :)
@cdcotr
I actually agree with you and I am a fan of both the show and Stevie. I think the dancers worked for the other song but not this one.
Stevie great as always.
Ahh loved Stevies performance. But I wanted to see her more!!
and thanks for the fast upload Codebear4!
@cdcotr i agree.. i gave you a thumbs down ;) lol.
i can sort of see where you're coming from. but these dancers are not back up dancers; i look at it as dancers telling the story of the song through dance, not as dancers complimenting a singer. when you see a story instead of choreography, the performance becomes much more transcendent and beautiful.
p.s. i think cheryl and tony are beautiful <3
will probably get a lot of thumbs down for this comment but, I felt the dancers were more of a distraction than a complement to the singing...the moves weren't congruent with the song and the really fast turns just didn't fit the mood at all IMO
this doesn't take away from their skills as dancers but maybe in their skill as choreographers..but it's just my take on it...
I just fell in love with Cheryl
